UTR Pro Tennis Tour Recap: McCray, Ngounoue Win Big in April

The month of April saw players competing all over the world in 10 UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT) tournaments. Every PTT event offers aspiring pros guaranteed prize money and multiple matches, thanks to a unique round-robin format.

Let's take a look at who won in April.

Repeat Champions

In Belgrade, Oleksandra Oliynykova won her first PTT title of 2024 and sixth overall. The 23-year-old Ukrainian, who also boasts a WTA Tour ranking inside of the Top 400, has won PTT prize money all over Europe.

Another repeat champion, Megan McCray, won the $25K PTT in Newport Beach without dropping a set. The win also marks the former Oklahoma State University standout’s sixth.

In Boca, former University of Kansas Jayhawk Malkia Ngounoue conquered the field for her fifth PTT crown. Malkia is the older sister of 17-year-old Clervie, who won junior Wimbledon last year.
